Finals close out the season

Here at Tetbury Bowls Club we are coming towards the end of the season with just a few more midweek and weekend friendlies to play.

Last week saw our club competition finals, some fantastic play with very close scores, with just the 51 Up and Pride Pairs still to complete. We have been lucky with the weather this year though the last few evening matches have ended up being played in the dark -- not helped by an electical fault on one of our floodlights. The Saturday final was followed by delicious pulled pork or beef rolls with coleslaw, provided by our 'Novice Competition' winner Vincent Knaus, and much enjoyed by all.
